This event attracted 63<br>participants in person and more than 10 viewers of the live stream footage online. It<br>was the most successful Urantia Conference so far conducted in Nigeria in the sense<br>that we were able to meet all our conference objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three major objectives of the Conference were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To bring together in one place, leaders of Urantia book study groups and long<br>time readers of the book scattered across Nigeria, to get to know one<br>another, disclose their aims and objectives, deliberate on the objectives of<br>the revelators of the Urantia book, and find common grounds to work<br>together in the dissemination of the teachings of the Urantia Book.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To bring together Members of the public especially youths, and introduce<br>them to the teachings of the Urantia book through the conference activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To give away copies of the Urantia book to leaders and new readers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Conference served as a forum for Urantia book readers to reunite and<br>bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Urantia Peace Initiative is particularly grateful for the financial support it received from<br>the Mustard Seed Grants Funds of the URANTIA FOUNDATION; and to the<br>International Fellowship Committee (IFC) of the URANTIA BOOK FELLOWSHIP, for<br>providing part of the matching funds that made this event possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-wp-interactive=\"core\/file\" class=\"wp-block-file\"><object data-wp-bind--hidden=\"!state.hasPdfPreview\" hidden class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" data=\"https:\/\/urantiapeace.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/NIGERIAN-URANTIA-CONFERENCE-REPORT-4.pdf\" type=\"application\/pdf\" style=\"width:100%;height:600px\" aria-label=\"Embed of NIGERIAN URANTIA CONFERENCE REPORT (4).\"><\/object><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-6281cd7a-7905-4ebb-8011-8bd12f5fb338\" href=\"https:\/\/urantiapeace.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/NIGERIAN-URANTIA-CONFERENCE-REPORT-4.pdf\">NIGERIAN URANTIA CONFERENCE REPORT (4)<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/urantiapeace.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/NIGERIAN-URANTIA-CONFERENCE-REPORT-4.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-6281cd7a-7905-4ebb-8011-8bd12f5fb338\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am very happy to present to you the outcome and results of the Urantia Conference\u2018CONTAGIOUS LOVE\u2019 held in Lagos Nigeria at the Lagos Airport Hotel Ikeja Lagos, onFriday September 1 and Saturday September 2, 2023.
